Hadapsar is an eastern suburb of Pune City, Maharashtra, India. Until 1990, Hadapsar was a small village surrounded by farms. Later, it developed into a major industrial area and one of the most densely populated areas of the Pune District.

Hadapsar is an industrial suburb of Pune and part of the Pune Municipal Corporation. Hadapsar is located along the Mumbai Hyderabad National Highway, also known as the NH65, which also connects Pune and Solapur. Hadapsar is home to many corporations such as Serum Institute of India, Honeywell, Bharat Forge, Gits Food Products, Indian Hume Pipe Factory, EDP, and Accurate. It is also home to the Hadapsar Industrial Estate.
Hadapsar has three SEZs: Magarpatta, Amanora Park Town and SP Infocity.

Gliding Centre Pune
The Gliding Centre at Hadapsar, Pune (GCP) is under the control of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Civil Aviation Department, Government of India. Currently, three 'Super Blanik L23' aircraft, which are two-seater gliders (Sailplanes), are used in the gliding centre.
Pilots with a valid Glider Pilot License can fly here. The center also offers training to aspiring pilots. GCP is open to the general public on Sundays (excluding national holidays) and offering glider rides. Typically, gliding season at GCP starts in October, post monsoon season and continues until the next monsoon season in May or early June.
Other tourist sites
Tourist locations in the vicinity include Theur, Kanifnath Temple, Purandhar Fort and Mastani Talav (a lake). Hadapsar is located about 8.5 km from the centre of Pune. Every year the devotees yatra (journey) of Sant Dyneshwar and Sant Tukaram palkhi goes from Alandi and Dehu to Pandharpur and passes through Hadapsar where the routes are diverted. The Chintamani temple (Theur) is 16km away from Hadapsar. Chintamani Ganpati is one of the eight Ashtavinayakas (8 Vinayak Temples) .
Kanifnath Temple: This ancient temple is believed to be of the Navnaths. There is a small cave in its entrance, but women are not allowed to pass through the cave. Kanifnath temple is located around 30 km away from Pune. From Hadapsar, two roads connect the temple. One is via Wadki, and the other is via Wadki & Saswad.
Theur: Theur is a pilgrimage site for Chintamani Ganapati Temple. This Ganesha Temple is one of the Ashtavinayak temples in Pune. This temple stands fifth in the row of Ashtavinayaks. It is also believed that Lord Brahma found peace of mind at this place by seeking the help of Lord Ganesha.
Mastani Talav: People believed that Bajirao and Mastani used to ride horses and spend time in the octagonal lake near the outskirts of Pune. This lake is also known as Mastani Talav. It can be seen from Dive ghat which is on the way from Saswad to Pune.
Purandar Fort: Purandar fort is well known as the birthplace of Sambhaji Raje Bhosle (the second Chhatrapati and son of Chhatrapati Shivajiraje Bhosle). Purandar stands 4,472ft above sea level in the Western ghat (southeast side of Pune) ahead of Saswad village, which about 40km away from Hadapsar. Purandar fort is also a well known trekking site.
Tukai Tekadi: This hill is located near the Gliding Centre. There is a temple nearby for goddess 'Tukai'. The surrounding area of Tukai Tekdi is a potential residential area in the near future.
Amanora Town Centre/Amanora Mall: This is a shopping mall within the township Amanora Park Town. A gated community spread over 400 acres Amanora Park Town contains Pune's tallest buildings.
Seasons Mall: Built up on a 17-acre plot, this mall is located on the outskirts of Magarpatta which has the largest multiplex in India with a 15 screen multiplex run by Cinepòlis.
Dorabjees Royal Heritage Mall: Another mall located to the south of Hadapsar near Undri. It includes 4 screen multiplex owned by INOX Leisure Ltd.
Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary: This is a wildlife sanctuary located about 60 km from Hadapsar and it is a home to the Indian gazelle (Chinkara) in addition to a number of other flora and fauna.

Transport
Hadapsar railway station is ahead of Amanora town centre. Pune Junction railway station provides more rail services. The nearest airport is Pune Airport.
Hadapsar is connected to the other parts of the city by PMPML buses. The PMPML also operates AC buses on the Katraj-Hadapsar BRT Route. Now, AC buses are no longer being operated on the Katraj-Hadapsar route. Several State Transport buses also have a stopover in Hadapsar.
The traffic density on the roads is higher during the morning and evening rush hours is due to the companies and SEZs located there, and it passes through the National Highway. Three flyovers have been constructed to ease traffic.
